1.വിന്‍ഡോസും ഉബുണ്ടുവും നെറ്റ്വര്ക്ക് ചെയ്തിരിക്കണം.
2.പ്രിന്‍റര്‍ ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന കമ്പ്യൂട്ടറിന് (windows) static IP address സെറ്റ് ചെയ്യുക.
3.വിന്‍ഡോസില്‍ പ്രിന്‍റര്‍ ഷെയര്‍ ചെയ്യുക.
Shared Networked Printer - Windows 7
1.Click the Start button, and then click Devices and Printers. 2. Click Add a printer. 3. In the Add Printer wizard, click Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer. 4. A search will begin for printers in your local network. Click The printer that I want isn't listed. 5. Select the Find a printer in the directory, based on location or feature radio button. Click Next. In the Find Printers window, in the Name field, enter the printer number i.e. PRN8001651. 6. Click the Find Now button. Select the desired printer in the Search results area. (If you are unable to locate the correct printer in these results contact the IT Service Desk for assistance). Click OK. Choose whether or not you want the added printer as the default printer and click Next. Click Finish. 7. The driver will be downloaded and the printer installed. Click Next. 8. Choose whether or not you want the added printer as the default printer. Optional: To print a test page, click Print a test page button. 9. Click Finish. To remove a network printer 1. Click the Start button, and then click Devices and Printers. 2. Right-click the printer that you want to remove, click Remove device, and then click Yes. |
4.ഉബുണ്ടു ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന കമ്പ്യൂട്ടറിലെ Printing ല്‍ പ്രവേശിക്കുക.
5.Add ക്ലിക്കു ചെയ്യുക.
6.നെറ്റ്വര്ക്ക് പ്രിന്‍റര്‍ സെലക്ട് ചെയ്യുക.
7.Windows Printer via Samba തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുക.
8.ശേഷം മുകളിലുള്ള പ്രിന്‍റര്‍പാത്തില്‍ (SMB Printer) Browse ല്‍ ക്ലിക്കു ചെയ്യുക.
9.ഇവിടെ ഷെയര്‍ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന വിന്‍ഡോസ് WORK GROUP കാണാം. അത് തുറന്ന് പ്രിന്‍റര്‍ കണ്ടെത്തുക.
10.ശേഷം Forward ക്ലിക്കു ചെയ്ത് നിര്‍ദ്ദേശത്തിനനുസരിച്ച് മുന്നോട്ട് പോയി ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്യുക.
11.ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാലേഷന്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയായാല്‍ സിസ്റ്റം റീബൂട്ട് ചെയ്യുക.
